The season begins on Thursday, 20 August for the Under 13 to Under 16 age groups, followed by the Under 7 to Under 12 competitions on Friday, 21 August.
Junior touch offers a fun and active way for children to build confidence, improve their skills and enjoy sport with friends in a positive team environment.
Players do not need previous touch football experience, with Townsville’s junior clubs welcoming both returning players and children trying the sport for the first time.
Each club can help families find the right age group, team and training arrangements while guiding parents through the registration process.
The season will again feature the annual “R U OK?” Round on Thursday, 10 and Friday, 11 September, bringing the junior touch community together to support meaningful conversations and connection.
No matches will be played during the September school holidays, giving families a mid-season break before competition resumes.
Teams will then continue towards the season finale, with Grand Finals for all age groups to be played on Friday, 20 November.
